CABIN FEVER REMEDY
REDISCOVER THE DOMES
It's a great time to rediscover a great Milwaukee treasure, the Mitchell Park Domes.
I visit the Domes every year at this time for a couple reasons. It's great just to be around lush greenery. I know that sounds lame, but really. It's rejuvenating. To be under the domes and feel bright sunshine beating in on you. You're surrounded by the smells of spring and summer. The kids look and run around. What a great deal.
On top of that, they've got the annual train show going right now. As far as train shows go, it's not anything to write home about, but it's a little something extra to look at. What I mean is, if you're a real model train buff... know that this doesn't fall in the range of the annual event at the Expo Center. They do a great job, however, and it's just cool to see the trains running around in the Show Dome.
Ella, Max, and Olivia had a good time as far as I could tell. So did Grandma Teen.
