MY SISTER SAID CRAP
Yeah. You're not really supposed to say that on the news.
It's not like swearing or anything. It's not usually even the kind of thing to get you talked to by the boss. It's just not something you usually say on T.V.
One time I wanted to use the word in a script, and I had to go through three levels of management to get it approved. The story was about a woman who had sewage backed up in her basement, and I wanted to end the story by saying, "Otherwise, it was a pretty crappy day."
The producer of the 10PM news at the time wouldn't let it pass, and handed me off to the executive producer. She made me call our news director at home and get final approval after much encouraging by me. Barely worth the effort,
So anyway... Emily let it slip yesterday on the news, and it was funny. Watch and enjoy the clip as young Emily ripped Craig for his silly outfits worn during the Packers/Brewers/Mets games on Sunday.
