I kept thinking of the Piggly Wiggly jingle this morning when we did the story about the lightning strike at the store in Mayville.
You know. The jingle is " Shop the Pig!" I kept thinking "Shock the Pig!"
The grocery store there in Mayville took a direct hit from a lightning bolt. The manager Jerry Mountin told us it made such a sound. He thought, "...somebody dropped a case of whiskey or brandy on the floor and it broke."
Thank goodness it wasn't anything serious like that.
