There was a lot wrong with the story we did in the 5:00 hour this morning, concerning a Corn Flake that allegedly looks like the State of Illinois.
First off... it doesn't.
I mean, I guess a little, but it's hardly a match. Somebody discovered a Corn Flake that she thought looked like Illinois and put the thing up on E-Bay. Fine.
Our story said the current bid for said Flake was $200,000. Most research I've done since shows the high bid in the neighborhood of $20, dollars. Still too high, nonetheless, but slightly more reasonable.
