4:00 AM TOMORROW
WINTER STORM COVERAGE COMING
My friend Craig Koplien says the winter storm is coming, thus we'll be on the air earlier than usual for those of you who will be up earlier than usual.
We've noticed something in tracking viewing habits over the last few times we've had big snow events. When people know it's coming, they get up early.
Some of them are school administrators looking to make a call on cancellations. Some are business travelers, wondering if they're coming or going. Mom's and dads look for the earliest indication of whether the kids have class. Some are the usual 5AM viewers who know they made need to be out early shoveling.
No matter what your reason for being up early tomorrow, we'll be up early with you. Our Weather Plus coverage begins at 4AM. If we're getting pounded... we'll be out everywhere to show you what's going on. If it's not all that bad, you can hit the snooze bar a few times and join us later... but you'll know.
Here's to hoping this is the last of it. My back hurts. I'm out of room to put the snow. I'm out of salt, and I'm out of patience.
