Vince Vitrano: Not For Broadcast

THE DEFINITION OF IRONY

SALT BOAT STUCK IN... WELL... ICE

  • Print

Irony is a term oft overused, but it must apply in this case.

So everybody is out of, or running out of salt. Fear not, Southeast Wisconsin! A ship carrying a huge load of salt is making its way to the Port of Milwaukee. It will eventually replenish the dwindling supply that you see when heading over the Hoan Bridge.

We desperately need this salt to help us melt all our ice. Here's the problem... it's caught in the ice!

Last report put the ship near Mackinac, Michigan.

Like Alanis Morrissette said, "It's like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife."
