Vince Vitrano: Not For Broadcast

YOU LOVED US... YOU REALLY LOVED US

KUDOS AND THANKS FROM VIEWERS

There are disproportionately more positive notes than negative.

I didn't do that on purpose. I told you, nasty notes get published too, so feel free to send them in. We did hear from far more people pleased with our coverage yesterday. Here are some of their thoughts.

From frequent emailer LaNay: "Hurrah for you guys at TMJ-4!!!!!
You were great yesterday…..all of you…..Thank goodness for your stamina…all of you
Thank you…thank you…..thank you!!!!! "

No name provided:"Good decision because not everyone was watching at the same time for one reason or another. You could watch it or not, up to each individual.   Thank you."

Tonya in Sheboygan: "I loved your all day coverage yesterday. I did in fact watch most of the hours you were on the air until 7:00 PM. I liked to know that the conditions were changing, the winter storm warning was extend 2 or 3 times over the course of the day. Sue, Lisa, Craig, Fish, and yourself did a wonderful job, oh and I cannot forget Diane, Courtney and Tom!"

Nicholas: "Sorry to get the impression  that folks were more concerned with "Days of Our Lives" than they were with the immediate consequences of the miserable weather that wandered through yesterday. I stayed with you, Susan, Scott and Craig just about all day."

Amy:  "As much as I probably shouldn't admit this, I think I watched about 10 or more of those 15 hours...  In fact, when TMJ4 switched to regularly scheduled programming at 7, I was kind of bummed--- it was nice to have that security blanket of being able to check in to see what was going on and what we should expect next."

Wendy from Eagle: "I was thrilled to know you would be spending a good portion of the day in my living room (my daughters had a different opinion, of course).  Not to mention, when I got up at 4:30 this a.m., to make coffee for my husband before he left for work, you were already on!  Yay! All that said, my opinion of 15 hours of coverage?  Thumbs up!!!"

Sue from Union Grove: "Just want you to know that I appreciated being informed yesterday.  I was stuck in the house with my three young kids (two of them sick) and it was nice to know what was going on out there.  Obviously I didn't watch the whole day, but it was nice to be able to check in when I wanted to."

Kelly: "I just finished reading your blog about the 15 hours of storm coverage…and I want to thank you guys for such great coverage. I watched a lot of it (not all 15 hours, though, that’s a lot of TVJ). It really was a huge event and deserved wall to wall coverage."

Terri: "Watch you guys every morning while I am getting ready for work.  I actually headed out in that mess yesterday AM at 6:15 and my normal 9 minute drive to Hwy 16 took me almost a half an hour - needless to say I turned around and went home!  I spent my day with my 2 dogs watching you guys!  I loved it and besides what else is on during the day?"

Jessica: "I just want to say that I think I watched you and Susan for the full 9 hours yesterday. (You guys did a great job) P.S. Tom Murray was so incredibly cute yesterday, is he single?!!"

Bob: Forget the Today Show, I'd rather watch the four of you unscripted (that's when you're at your BEST) until 9AM or so! I have NO complaints about your extended coverage.  It was needed more than "fluff television" yesterday.

Bev: I enjoyed the coverage 4 had all day.  Besides when I needed a break there were other stations that had regular scheduled programs on. Viewers choice.
Bill in Pewaukee: While some of us have the opportunity to stay home from work on days such as yesterday; you have to somehow make it to work, spend extra hours on the job, and spend extra time away from your family.  For all of that, I thank you.  Your fine work is appreciated.  Best wishes always.

Denise in Franklin: I would just like you guys to know that I watched you from 4:00 am on during our snowstorm yesterday (except when i was outside shoveling) not only yesterday but anytime you come on early.
Amy: As much as I probably shouldn't admit this, I think I watched about 10 or more of those 15 hours...  In fact, when TMJ4 switched to regularly scheduled programming at 7, I was kind of bummed--- it was nice to have that security blanket of being able to check in to see what was going on and what we should expect next.
No name: Good decision because not everyone was watching at the same time for one reason or another. You could watch it or not, up to each individual. Thank you.
