CLASSIC MILWAUKEE VACATION
OFF OF WORK, BUT NOT OUT OF TOWN
There's nothing like going on vacation without "going" on vacation, especially when you live in such a cool town like Milwaukee.
Good to be back with you all. As I indicated, I was on vacation last week, but I didn't go anywhere... well, not out of town or anything.
Here it is in a nutshell: I went to 3 Brewer games, played 72 holes of golf, had a huge family gathering for my daughter's second birthday, and we went to the zoo too.
I'll be honest with you all; I'm not much of an animal lover. I still love going to the zoo, though. If you don't have kids, borrow one or more and take them along. Or, take your boyfriend/girlfriend and hold hands. Ride the zoo tram and don't miss the zoo train. You don't have to stay long, but don't forget it's there and it's awesome.
That's why I love the vacation I just took. There is so much to do in Milwaukee in summer, and we haven't even hit Summerfest yet! It's great to take trips to visit places. You have to do that to expand your horizons, see the country and the world, and experience life and culture. Don't get me wrong, I love to travel.
That said, every once in a while it's great to take a break and enjoy the many things we have here at home. I did just that for the past week, and it was fantastic.
Okay... that wraps up vacation. I'm back and blogging again daily.
