BREWER MEMORABILIA DAY DECLARED
WATCH LIVE AT DAYBREAK FRIDAY
Dust of your "What's Brewing" magazines. Break out the Brewer Bars. Let's see the ticket stubs from your Pepsi Fan Club seats. Friday is Brewer memorabilia day on Live at Daybreak.
We're going to do some digging here on Live at Daybreak. I'm hoping I can find all that stuff that I collected as kid attending Brewer games. Remember on bat day when they gave away full sized, real wooden bats? Awesome.
I'm pretty sure my cousins have those. I know I had a red Coca-Cola sponsored bat, and a green Mountain Dew bat. Like I said, I'm pretty sure those have been passed along. I do hope to recover somewhere in the attic my old Brewer uniform as seen on the left. My brother and I had the whole deal one year for Halloween. We went with the away unies. Nice. He was Molly. I was Yount. I also believe I can recover a 1982 Brewer Helmet Day relic.
This movement was inspired not only by the fantastic play of our team of late, but also my brother discovering an audio file of the old Brewers turning up the heat song. We'll play it tomorrow.
While searching for these photos I also ran across the Brewer Bar. I remember eating those things. They tasted eerily similar to a Nestle Crunch Bar, but clearly they were full of more power!
Man I love this year's team. Join in the fun tomorrow morning on Live at Daybreak on Today's TMJ4. I'm also inviting you to email pictures of any Brewer junk you've got. Hopefully we can share some of your pictures on the air and in this space. Send 'em in. Go Brewers!
