Vince Vitrano: Not For Broadcast

CELEBRITY LOOK-A-LIKES

BREWERS LOOK LIKE OTHERS

Seriously... tell me Bush is not Malkovich.

Every time I watch dude pitch, and lately I've loved watching dude pitch, I can't get Malkovich out of my head.

I keep thinking of Dave Bush's epic performance as Mitch Leary in "In the Line of Fire." That dude tried to kill the president, and then taunted Clint Eastwood's character relentlessly.

"Think about it Frank. The same government that trained me to kill trained you to protect. And now you're trying to kill me while up on that rooftop I protected you. "

"Watching the President, I - I couldn't help wondering why a man like you would risk his life to save a man like that. You have such a strange job - I can't decide if it's heroic or absurd. "

I don't know any lines from this dude, but I do know Kevin Mench is swinging a hot, hot bat right now. I love this guy too, and I really feel badly about publishing this comparison.

While it's a stretch, however, I've got to admit there's a little resemblance, except for the scarring and general nastiness of Toxic.

Sorry Mench. Seriously. I love what you're doing with the Crew this year. Keep swinging away! You totally should have had a homer yesterday with that rocket to left. Impressive.

Don't feel bad if the bucket heads all of a start calling you Toxic. It's out of love, man!

My thanks, I guess, to Today's TMJ4 Graphic artists James Daniels and Steven Armendariz who put together these fine side-by-sides, and for informing me of the latter.

Oh, and Geoff Jenkins looks like Brett Favre.

Go Brewers!
