HOPE YOU LIKE BRITISH ACCENTS
I could watch British movies just for the accents.
Of that genre, Matthew wrote in: "By the way, ever see the movie "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels"? Guy Ritchie ("Mr. Madonna") made it. My favorite movie of all time. Fun to watch and hitting the closed captioning makes the English accents understandable."
I really liked this movie. I think my wife fell asleep, so dudes, it may be one for late night solo viewing.
Nonetheless... it was typical, dark humor and all delivered with such thick British accents some scenes were hard to understand. Terrific. I barely remember the plot. Some burglars had to get a big score... yadda yadda yadda, some people got shot and it was funny in a disturbing way.
Okay. Now if you liked that one, you'll love Snatch. Mr. Angelina Jolie is in it. Brad Pitt was pretty funny in this film. I actually liked it better than Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. It was funnier, and they kept calling this dude's camper a "caravan." Funny.
As long as we're talking about this, here's a trilogy in the genre: The Commitments, the Snapper, and the Van. I'm not sure what order they go in, but they're all pretty cool too.
