Vince Vitrano: Not For Broadcast

OOPS. I DID IT AGAIN

AND THE STREAK CONTINUES

Badger head coach Brett Bielema told his team earlier this week, all the memories of the Rose Bowl are that much better if you actually win the game.

He's right... and that goes for the fans too.

No, I don't honestly believe that the team loses because I'm here to cover them... least... I don't think I believe that.

As I detailed in an earlier post, I have a woeful road record when it comes to covering our favorite teams. Now, 7 years after 4th and 26 I have struck the same pouting pose to reflect my sadness at the outcome of the big game.

I would rank this 3rd worse sports feeling ever in person. 4th and 26 number one and will never be beaten. It's because we had the thing won,

Super Bowl 32 felt horrible. I almost couldn't believe that.

Then there's this. So many Badger fans here. So much promise in this team. So much to gain from a great showing on the national stage... nah, nah.

Great season. Great trip. All those things. But give us a couple days to feel crummy about this one.
