COOKIE SUSPECT PLEADS GUILTY
REMAINDER OF TREAT EATEN
MILWAUKEE TODAY'S TMJ4 News Anchor Susan Kim pleaded guilty this morning to "breaking off" and eating a piece of cookie that was on a colleague's desk.
The drama unfolded around 7:20 AM as News Anchor Vince Vitrano was returning to his desk following a live radio appearance in another part of the building. "Hey," Vitrano said. "Who took a bite out my cookie?"
Witnesses to the shocking question posed by Vitrano initially expressed disbelief, and later disgust as they discovered someone indeed had taken a hunk out of a previously whole cookie.
That's when Kim began laughing and then matter-of-factly declared, "I was hungry, so I broke off a piece and I ate it."
Kim expressed no remorse in the admission.
Vitrano proceeded to finish the rest of the cookie. It is not known if Kim actually "broke off the piece" as she claimed, or bit it off.
