The Packers Should Be Frustrated
At Brandon Underwood, At Police, And More
I can understand the frustration of Clay Matthews and the 6 Packers now linked to the alleged sexual assault allegations.
Clay Matthews, Brad Jones, Matt Flynn, Josh Sitton, Korey Hall and Khalil Jones are all cleared of any criminal activity. Yet their names were released and for a time, linked to the incident.
Matt Flynn said it best. "There is nothing that I or we did that I am embarrassed about."
The player under investigation for the incident, Brandon Underwood? He might only be guilty of extremely poor judgement when it's all said and done. Especially since he has a wife, and kids.
But the women's stories don't add up. Claiming more than one man was involved, then just one. Underwood says it was consensual, the women say it wasn't.
Clearly something not very savory happened. And it could even be that the women eventually figured out that this was a Packer, knew other Packers involved would make a great story, and thought money could be involved.
But the 6 other Packers appear to have done nothing wrong, so they should have no reason to be tainted by this.
