I have to admit. Borat was crude, but I found something very entertaining and funny about a guy who could do outrageous things, and say even more outrageous things...all in the guise that this character was real, and naive.
Now flip ahead to the year 2010. Zim Zim Yo Yo's. Green shorts with suspenders. And environmental yo yo-ing.
It's all a part of Kenny "K Strauss" Strasser's act. Which now includes fooling 5 Midwest TV stations with his act.
The con act, all performed on morning shows where they're looking at filling time...and they didn't bother to check dude's credentials.
The beautiful part? Hitting himself in the face and in the groin with a yo-yo. Imitating a helicopter, then getting dizzy and falling down. Taking phone calls live on the air. And having his yo-yo fall apart on the air.
So, here's Kenny in the act. Click on the video links, and have a laugh. It's a great lesson to learn...we in TV need to check credentials. And sometimes, you can't take yourself too seriously or be to desperate to fill time...because stuff like this will happen!
