LeBron James is overhyped, seemingly over Cleveland...and getting ready to get out of dodge.
If you caught the King's act on Tuesday night, it lacked sentiment, or any feelings. LeBron is one step away from getting bumped out of the Eastern Conference Semifinals....and if that happens, he'll bail on his home state of Ohio and his "home town" of Cleveland quicker than a crossover. Book it. He wants to be the first billion dollar athlete not named Tiger. He was booed walking off the court. There's no love lost and no loyalty with him and his home state.
And this bodes well for the Bucks...a Cavs team likely without James means a weaker Central Division.
Knicks. Nets. Bulls. Get ready for the feeding frenzy when James opts out of his contract and becomes a free agent.
If it is James last performance in front of his home crowd, what a clunker. Missed his first 7 shots. Finished 3 for 14, and scored just 15 points against Boston as the Celtics won by 32.
Please tell me, when was the last time James hit a clutch, game winning shot? I thought so. The next time somebody tries to compare him to Kobe, I'll hurl. Win a ring, let alone 4...and then we'll talk. Until then, as Public Enemy once wisely said...don't believe the hype.
