Don't Tase Me Bro! Those famous words, from a college protester in a class room a few years back...could have been used at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia the past two nights. Both times a fan ran onto the field, on Monday...a 17-year-old fan got the taser treatment. Click on the video link to check it out.
Well, my take...if you don't want to be tased, stay off the field. Since when did this "tradition" of running onto the field become the hip thing to do? Look what happened at County Stadium, when a fan attacked Bill Spiers in right field.
I love what former Jets and Chiefs coach Herm Edwards said about the incident on Monday. They have warning signs at the zoo, do not enter the bear's den or the lion's lair. You know the risk involved if you do. Well, why shouldn't the same rules apply on the baseball field?
