I have to admit. Back in my day (the 80's), I didn't appreciate the bad guys in wrestling (known as heels in the business) as much as I should.
I cheered for Hulk Hogan.
But Rowdy Roddy Piper raised the level of the villain, to an art form. Spraying people with fire extinguishers, hitting Jimmy "the Superfly" Snuka over the head with coconuts...nothing was off limits for the guy.
So now, the tables are reversed. The man who made Piper's Pit a household term, gets interviewed one-on-one by me. How close he's come to death, his controversial incident with Cyndi Lauper, and his place as one of the best bad guys ever...all covered.
