Ever have a situation when you lose your breath, and can't get it back?
Yeah, that happened to me the other day. And I had nowhere to go...no sound bite to throw to, no time to stop and pause. It's live TV, the show must go on.
The story behind the story...I forgot I was on with the Packers preseason schedule in the first news block, so the control room called for me at 5:07. I sprinted part of the way from the sports office to the studio, which is a little bit of a haul. What you folks don't know behind the scenes sometimes is hysterical. By 3 seconds I made it, started....then lost my breath.
