You can provide a happy birthday for a needy child...by contributing to a "Birthday Party In A Bag" at this weekend's Wave game.
On Sunday, March 7 when the Wave hosts Rockford at 2pm at the Cell...just bring cake mix, frosting, sprinkles or cake candles, which will be combined with other fun party items supplied by the Wave. It will be placed in a red Sendik's bag and distributed to local food pantries.
Sunday is also the 18th annual Mascot Game, which is always a hoot...and if you make a donation to the Birthday Party in a Bag, you can take a shot on goal against one of the Wave goalkeepers after the game.
