So The Vikes Are Classless
We Just Always Assumed This, Now We Know
We've seen the days of multiple Vikings drinking and driving. Of Randy Moss pretending to drop his pants at Lambeau Field and telling a photographer "straight cash homey" when asked how he would take care of a fine. And of course, the Loveboat incident.
And while scoring a touchdown with under 2 minutes to play in a 27-3 doesn't rank anywhere near those travesties, it does show what I've always suspected. The Vikings are pretty classless.
Hey, I don't fault Brett Favre for throwing the TD pass on 4th and 3. And since it is professional football, if the Cowboys really didn't want this controversy, they needed to stop the play.
But I blame Brad Childress. It trickles down from the head coach, and to call that and win 34-3 instead of 27-3, somebody might want to remind old Chili he's not calling plays as the Badgers offensive coordinator and he doesn't need to run up the score for more BCS points.
I don't blame Keith Brooking for charging the Cowboys sideline. If you're passionate about your job or something near and dear to you, you should do the same thing. Like I've been told, you've got to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything.
I can't wait for the Cowboys or some other team (maybe the Saints?) to pile on a meaningless TD at the end of a game on the Purple People Eaters. Because they better keep their mouth shut and take it like men. One ounce of whining, and they're bigger phonies than I even suspect.
