Packers Breakdown With Greg Bedard
I Say Steelers Win A Close One
Time for our weekly Packers breakdown, this time with one of the best in the biz....Journal Sentinel blogmaster Greg Bedard. Greg and I talk everything from Johnny Jolly's status, to the Packers glaring weaknesses, to how Greg's twins are doing compared to my twins.
While we're at it, I think the Steelers win this week, 23-20. On offense, I think the Packers will have a hard time pass protecting Aaron Rodgers against reigning defensive MVP James Harrison (10 sacks) and Lamarr Woodley (9 sacks). And while the Packers will sack Ben Roethlisberger (he's 2nd in the league in sacks next to you know who, Aaron Rodgers), I still think their slim playoff chances will propel the Steelers to finally breaking their 5 game losing streak.
It's hard to win 5 games in a row, so I think the streak ends at Heinz Field. And that's not the end of the world, because losing to an AFC team, the Packers don't drop any tiebreaking scenarios for the playoff race. If you're going to lose one, might as well do it now.
