Packers Tell Ravens Never More
The Flags Might Still Be Flying at Lambeau
First off, I predicted a 24-20 win, first team to score 3 TD's wins. 27-14, but the 3 TD's held up.
Now for the two numbers that were shocking. 310 and 175. As in 310 penalty yards between the two teams...the most ever combined yards in a Packers game. The 175 for the Pack....only 9 shy of the team record. The only time the Packers had more...1945, when they had 184 yards against the get this...Boston Yanks!
It's still a little scary, how this team doesn't really put anyone away, and repeatedly make mistakes. But I'll give them credit...they've found a way to overcome them. They don't look like a team that's going to make a deep run in the playoffs...but they could win a game or two.
The linebackers are active. Clay Matthews, what doesn't he do? Nick Barnett solid. And even A.J. Hawk had a pick.
The other concern...playing in a short week, against a key rival (Chicago) and while the Bears are coming off a win against the lowly Rams...they are still coming off a victory, and playing at Soldier Field is a different animal. And Ryan Pickett's hamstring injury doesn't look good as he limped off the field.
