The Badgers beat 6th ranked Duke in a nailbiter. The Big Ten beats the ACC in the challenge between the conferences for the first time.
But the best part about all this...is once again, Bo Ryan and his Badgers are proving the doubters wrong. Did anyone believe it when the so-called experts picked Wisconsin to finish 6th in the Big Ten?
I laughed at it. Bo's teams almost always finish in the top 4. I'm thinking they finish 4th in the conference. Trevon Hughes still makes some curious decisions, but his senior leadership and scoring ability in the second half...unmatched.
Jon Leuer is 10 pounds of muscle stronger, and a very tough matchup. Keaton Nankovil is throwing home thunderous dunks and hitting clutch 3's. While Ryan Evans and Jordan Taylor, just need to see the floor more...and they're earning that with each game that passes. Textbook example, look at the defense Evans played on Duke's Kyle Singler when he could have tied the game.
Rip this out, or mark it down. Wisconsin finishes no lower than 4th in the Big Ten...and wins a game, if not two in the NCAA tourney to get to the Sweet 16. And please, never underestimate a Bo Ryan coached team again...
