If you had any doubts about the intensity, just watch the classic NFL Films clips when the Monsters of the Midway dominated the scene in the mid 80's.
The crazy eyes. The cold stare. The big jarring hit followed by "I like this kinda party!"
So to get you fired up for the Packers-49ers game, I dust off a classic from last year. After tight end Vernon Davis floated through a series of plays, old Samurai Mike tore him up. Bench him. Then sent him to the showers.
But he wasn't done. Mount Singletary erupted with one of the most classic press conference rants of all time. Can't do it...I want winners!
