Packers Fans: You're Speaking Loud And Clear
You've Said Enough!
Thanks to a previous blog entry: http://www.todaystmj4.com/bloggers/lanceallan/69539482.html clearly you fans have had enough of the Packers follies. So rather than waste time, let's get to the best of the best!
First up, Brian Higgins: There is one person I've had enough of most, and that is Mike McCarthy. TT has his issues, but has still put together a pretty decent team. MM has shown week after week, year after year that he has no discipline over his team. The only thing that wasn't completely his fault was the Jolly head-butt. Allowing dumb mistakes (you mentioned Colledge, but he's not the only one) to occur without fining, penalizing or benching players sends a signal that it's ok.
Next up, Martha Forman of Grand Rapids, MI: These BOZOs !!!! I say bring Mike Sherman back … he knows a winning system the fans and the players! We could probably get him cheap too! ((Is she secretly a Lions fan? Do people forget about the 4-12 season, and the lack of depth for his poor GM work? I'm sure he would come cheap once Texas A&M figures things out.)
Dave Zebrowski takes aim at Ted: Now everyone has their sights set on Coach McCarthy. He isn't the one to blame for this dismal mess the team is in. At least he is not alone in it. No one bothers to look at Mr. Thompsons record when he was with Seattle. The Seahawks were a mediocre team at best before Thompson took over as GM. When that happened, he took that team down the tubes the same as he has done with the Packers. Get rid of Capers too or at least the way he is running the defense. Go back to the way it was 1 to 2 years ago and let the guys do what they do best.
And as usual, loyal reader and viewer Mike Holzer gets in a great parting shot:
I like it when McCarthy says after the game..."it's only one loss". That's like the captain of the Titanic telling his passengers..."it's just a little ice...we'll be fine".
