Riding the tunnel of love surrounding Brett Favre, the Vikings are living a charmed life at 6-0.
That's about to end, because I'm calling it. Minnesota, you're going to lose at Pittsburgh. And Brett Favre, you're falling in your "homecoming" to Lambeau Field.
First, the defending champion Steelers aren't your typical AFC team that doesn't feel like losing to an NFC team hurts them. They want to send a message to whomever they think they might have to defend their title against...so game on, Purple ones.
And two, the Packers have licked their wounds from the first meeting. They'll be ready for round two. Pressure packages will be better (as opposed to non-existent the last time), and Ahman Green was picked up to help the screen/3rd down/short passing game, along with blitz pickups and to help chip Jared Allen. Green is a big body and way better than Brandon Jackson.
That should make Minnesota 6-2 and Green Bay 5-2 when the dust settles. And while it's still more likely that the Vikes win the division, I believe things are going to get a lot more interesting in the next week and a half.
