About a month ago, it looked like the Milwaukee Wave...would be waving goodbye.
But thanks to a great save, a Golden goal, an OT thrillers...whatever soccer analogy you want to use, the team has been saved.
I love the story that in reality, 13-year-old Jack Lindenberg actually saved the team. As the story goes, his Dad Jim Lindenberg was driving around when a story came on the radio about the demise of the Wave. His son Jack said "Dad, it would be a shame if the Wave went away. We should save the Wave."
And the rest, they say, is history. Check it out as we caught up with one of the most community oriented pro teams around at a soccer camp in Hartland.
