The Milwaukee Wave indoor soccer franchise may still have an uphill climb to get an owner to save the day...but now it can be said that they're getting support worldwide.
Wave Head Coach Keith Tozer pointed out to me that a soldier named Martin, stationed in Baghdad, Iraq, has pledged to buy 4 season tickets for next season. And he lives in Seymour, WI....near Green Bay, nearly a 2 hour drive from the soccer team's home field at the U.S. Cellular Arena!
Here is the e-mail from halfway across the globe:

> won't be back see all the games, but my wife and daughters will. Total price
> $800.00.

Incredible. While Martin is protecting our freedoms overseas, he's also fighting to save the Wave franchise. Powerful stuff I thought I'd share with you, and thanks to Keith Tozer for sharing it with us. If you want to find out how you can do your part, just go to milwaukeewave.com
