Most people don't even realize this....but Gilbert Brown once played for the Minnesota Vikings.
Well, he never actually PLAYED for them. Since he was cut after one training camp.
So the Gravedigger loves to bury the Vikes...saying he come back and play for any team, except the squad that would force him to wear purple. He's still that mad about it, 16 years later.
So, when I ask Gilbert how much he would shudder if Brett Favre puts purple on in the next week or so, Gilbert issues this classic response:
"Grown men shouldn't wear purple!"
