One game does not a career make, but can we please stop this moronic talk about trading Corey Hart?
Friday night against the White Sox proved why he is still valuable. A double. A triple. 3 RBI. A spectacular all out diving catch. And an outfield assist.
Yes, he's struggled to stay off the outside pitch. Yes, his confidence has dropped. But he's still young (27), plays great defense, steals bases and won't become a free agent until after the 2011 season. And last I checked, the Brewers have more glaring needs at third, second, and on tne mound (starting and maybe a little relief pitching.)
There's a certain sports talk radio station that loves throwing Corey Hart trade rumor garbage out, trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator. Please, shut up and stop it and come up with something intelligent to say...because the Brewers should still have a Hart in their lineup.
