DANICA WANTS HER FIRST WIN ON U.S. SOIL
BUT SHE'LL COME UP SHORT ON SUNDAY
Danica Patrick has her best shot to win at the Milwaukee Mile ever. With 3 straight top 5 finishes, including a 3rd place performance at Indy...she's on a roll.
And while her best performance at the Mile is 4th in '06, she has been strong here in the past, like in '07 when a good run turned into a brush with Dan Wheldon on and off the track.
So what happens this weekend? Qualifying is so huge, but I'm thinking momentum will carry her to a top 5 qualifying performance, and a podium finish. I'm just thinking she'll fall just short, let's say second on Sunday.
Click on the video link for her thoughts on winning, her past dustups, and if this will be her last appearance at the Mile with a possible move to NASCAR next year.
