The word dynasty is thrown around pretty loosely these days. Teams that win titles two years in a row, or maybe even 2 titles in 3 years are labeled with the "D" word....which just isn't right.
Well, there's one right in our backyard...and it's about time to call the UW-Whitewater wheelchair team a dynasty.
The Warhawks recently won their 8th national title, beating the best team they could race past....downing Illinois 82-76.
Joe Chambers, cutting down the nets in celebration...was named the NCAA Player of the Year.
Congrats to the Warhawks...and I'd wish them continued success, but somehow I feel we'll be talking about their 10th title in the not-too-distance future!
