THE BUCKS CRACK DOWN ON THE TWITTERING
I was talking with Charlie Villanueva last week about the joys and pitfalls of Facebook, when he hit me with this....
"You on twitter?" No, I said...but I'm thinking about it.
"Man, I'm addicted to it."
I guess! Come to find out a few days later, he comes into the Bucks locker room at halftime, and posts this on his Twitter account:
"IN DA LOCKER ROOM, SNUCK TO POST MY TWITT. WE'RE PLAYING THE CELTICS, TIE BALL GAME AT DA HALF. COACH WANTS MORE TOUGHNESS. I GOTTA STEP UP."
Now when Scott Skiles found out about it, it was "Tweet," game over. That doesn't have any place in the locker room. To Charlie V's credit, he played better in the second half...scored 19 points, and the Bucks pulled off a major upset of the Celtics to stay in the race for the 8th and final playoff spot in the East.
So I ask you...harmless fun, or no place for this sort of thing?
