PACKERS VS. FALCONS PREDICTION TIME
IT'S THE LEAST TALKED ABOUT PACKERS GAME IN YEARS!

I've worked in TV since 1992. This Packers game has received less air and less ink than any I can recall, all because of the Brewers run in the postseason. But today that ends! And unlike the Packers, I'm a perfect 4-0...so let's see if I can stay undefeated!
When the Falcons have the ball: Watch out for Michael "The Burner" Turner. He might be only 5'8", but he's coming up big for Atlanta. I'm sure he and the Falcons offense is salivating as they get ready to face off against the banged up and ego bruised Packers run defense. And while Matt Ryan has been impressive as a rookie, the Packers need to generate pressure on him. Even with the loss of Cullen Jenkins to injury, the Packers (hello KGB and Michael Montgomery) need to get hits and sacks on the Falcons QB. The Packers have waited 3 long years for Montgomery to start...it's time for him to produce.
When the Packers have the ball: It depends on the status of Aaron Rodgers. Regardless if he plays, he won't be able to wing it down field, so the Packers should run a more traditional West Coast offense with plenty of slants and comeback routes. Look for the Packers to throw it at the TE's a lot. And if Matt Flynn starts, the offense will be even more vanilla. If the run game ever shows up, this should be it to protect whatever signalcaller the Packers start. And Mason Crosby will need to be about perfect to pull out what should be a close game.
Bottom line, Atlanta isn't good enough to overcome the injury depleted Packers. It's 19-13 Green Bay.
