And for the first time in 26 years, we're about to find out what meaningful baseball in October is all about. When the Brewers are at bat: Time to start advancing some runners. And I'm still not convinced the Brewers offense is clicking on all cylinders. Ted Lilly nearly no-hit the Crew on Saturday, Ryan Braun masked the fact that the Cubs retired 18 straight on Sunday. I'm also convinced they need to jump out early, because a mostly young team needs confidence this time of year. When the Phillies are at bat: Can you say HR leader Ryan Howard, Chase Utley and Jimmy Rollins? What a murderer's row. Pat Burrell and Jayson Werth didn't exactly have poor years either. And the Brewers defensive issued need to disappear in late innings, or these guys will make them pay. Prediction: I say the Brewers split out here, split in Milwaukee, and lose in 5.
