Two weeks left in the regular season. But not the cat's out of the bag....Brett the Jet could be one and done in NYC.
It's clear to see that the 3-time MVP has enjoyed his time in New York. The 9-5 season, more than most expected. And a 10th straight Pro Bowl shows he still has it.
But you also can't ignore the fact that Favre leads the NFL with 17 interceptions...and there are whispers that at 39 years of age, he's wearing down as the season winds downs. Hey, I'm 38...and I'm wearing down thru the football season, and I don't even play!
Well, at this week's press conference, Favre keeps the door open for another soap opera to play out this offseason, as he doesn't commit to coming back for a 19th season.
To a degree, it's understandable. The season is long, grueling...and right now he's getting mentally and physically drained. On the other side, haven't we been in this position before...for the last 5-6 years?
