FAVRE 4 MVP?

AND VIAGRA FOR PERFORMANCE

  • Print

Time for some quick hitters.  Favre could equal his number in one department...what CC is likely waiting for...and yes, a male performance drug that now has new found powers.

OK, coming into the weekend....Brett Favre was still a long shot, probably third in the MVP race.  Well, depending on how much weight you put on one game...front runner Kurt Warner and his Cards once again came up a little short in a true test against the Giants....and Brett the Jet beat another front runner, Kerry Collins and the Titans and dropping Tennessee from the ranks of the unbeaten.  Do you think number 4 is now a favorite for a 4th MVP?

Well, at least that draft pick picked up in the trade is getting better for GM Ted Thompson.  It's already up to a third, and will easily become a second when Favre plays 2 more games and the Jets make the playoffs.  And if New York makes the playoffs, it's a first rounder.  And Ted should have made it two first rounders if Favre becomes a 4-time MVP.

Reportedly CC Sabathia won't make a decision until after Thanksgiving, and sometime around the GM meetings in December.  Maybe that's so he won't choke on a wish bone...but more than likely it's to give the California teams more time to come up with better offers, like the alleged 6-year, $110-120 million dollar deal the Dodgers whipped together.

And finally, the head of the World Anti-Doping Agency acknowledged over the weekend that the little blue pill, yes Viagra, is being examined for its potential use as a performance-enhancing drug.  Hard to believe, but incresed cardiac output and more efficient fuel to the muscles can enhance endurance.  Viagra, I guess it's not just for bedtime anymore!
