The domination apparent with 7-14 third down conversions (after just 1 last week), a more than 2 to 1 advantage in rush yards and first downs, and a nearly 15 minute bulge in time of possession.
2. THE DEFENSE WAS TIRED OF BEING A PUNCHING BAG. This time the defensive line, linebackers and secondary all dictated the flow of the game. And I said it before the game...A.J. Hawk's best position is likely middle linebacker. I think he's found a new home.
3. SPECIAL TEAMS DELIVERS. Devin Hester hasn't had a great year, but the Packers were all over him and then some....and they never kicked away from the special teams demon. And Mason Crosby shook off that miss last week with a career long tying 53 yard field goal.
4. THE LOPSIDED RIVALRY. Mike McCarthy had never beaten the Bears at home. The Packers needed a win to tie up the Bears, and with a Vikes loss at Tampa, have a 3-way dance atop the NFC North. Plus the Packers currently hold the tiebreaker. Mission accomplished.
