THE FIRES AROUND FAVRE HEAT UP

Let's recap another great day in the soap opera that is the Favre of Our Lives.
First, the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that Favre will apply for reinstatement. Our source says it's very possible, but nothing is imminent. Brett's agent Bus Cook confirms this by saying there is no definite plan to file reinstatement papers.
Then we learn that Brett is in LA for the taping of the ESPY's...and Aaron Rodgers is also there as well. Can you say awkward?
And finally, the Packers decline comment (which means it's true) on a report by FOX Sports Jay Glazer that the Packers are filing tampering charges with the NFL against the Vikings after Brett Favre had "more than normal" contact with former QB coach and current Minnesota Offensive Coordinator Darrell Bevell.
Remember, Jay Glazer is the guy that reported that Favre changed his mind when the Packers considered sending a jet for him when he first considered coming out of retirement, and it's no coincidence...somebody in the Packers organization is leaking info to Glazer, to get back at Favre. They may do it quietly, but make no mistake...the Packers aren't all squeaky clean in this either. They aren't afraid to get down and dirty and fire back.
And this confirms what I've said before...if the Packers released Favre, he would be wearing purple tomorrow...just to stick it to the Pack twice a year.
So how about that rivalry with the Vikes? Boy, that game on September 8th just got a lot more juice!
