And as you can imagine, 90 percent of my e-mail responses surround Favre fest. First up, Sarah Opsahl writes:

First of all Brett Favre was the fourth best QB in the NFL last year (#1. Brady, #2. Manning, #3. Romo, #4. Favre) and if you don’t believe me then look up the stats.
Second – Ted Thompson is an arrogant Jerk! Thompson is doing to Favre what Jimmy Johnson did to Marino at the end of his career. The difference between Farve and Marino at the end of their careers is that Farve is still a Pro Bowl QB and Marino was not. Thompson wants any player that was drafted by Wolf gone. If Favre (who was drafted by Wolf) led the Packers to a Super Bowl Victory, it would take credit away from Thompson. We need to trade Thompson.
Third – You keep reading the blogs of these idiots that want Favre to stay retired. These people have the football IQ of Forrest Gump!!
Fourth – Favre did not miss a game during his 17 year career!! Lets see what fragile little Rodgers does over the course of an NFL season.
