I probably couldn't even change my tires or my spark plugs...so big props to Grafton's Paul Bretl and Chris Creek, along with instructor Carl Hader.
The two 2008 Grafton High grads drove their fully repaired 2008 Ford Focus to victory, crossing the finish line in 73 minutes and 40 seconds to win the 59th annual Ford/AAA Student Auto Skills national finals.
In addition to thousands of dollars in scholarships, the two students get to job shadow at Roush Fenway Racing for a week in Concord, NC...plus they'll be honorary pit crew members at the July 12th Sprint Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway.
I'm hoping they take me along to the NASCAR race...and congrats to these Grafton grads!
