Ex-Brewer Jeff Cirillo Compares Kid To Former Teammate Jim Abbott
I first met 12-year-old Donald Schnurer at an Elkhorn baseball camp with former Brewer Jeff Cirillo.
Schnurer is quiet, almost shy....but don't let that fool you. The lefty can hit the gun at around 65 miles per hour, impressive for his age.
There's also something else impressive about this kid from Genoa City, that could make him the next Jim Abbott...the former Brewer who didn't let a disability limit him from throwing a no-hitter with the Yankees, and get 2 hits with the Crew.
