I've always liked Noah Herron, even though his Northwestern Wildcats did a lot of damage to the Badgers over the years. Hey, anybody who Brett Favre invites down to Mississippi to train with in the offseason has to rank pretty high up the ladder as a trusted teammate.
Now comes word that while a burglar breaks into his home, the Packers running back calmly calls 911, then unscrews his bed post...and then uses it like a Louisville Slugger on the unsuspecting and totally shocked criminal.
This is clearly the best play this Packer has had in Green Bay in his career.
I'm already seeing a very lucrative endorsement deal with a bed company...because clearly if he can take apart the bed post, the man
deserves a new one!
In all seriousness, thank goodness this didn't turn into another Sean Taylor incident...the tragedy of the Redskins safety shot and killed in a home invasion still sending shock waves through the NFL community.
And anybody who can bust crooks busting into his house is all good in my book!
