FIRST ROUND FINAL THOUGHTS

Greetings from Omaha...just some thoughts on UW and MU moving on to round 2:
The Badgers were going to outrebound Cal State Fullerton. Now they need to be more aggressive in the paint, going to the rim. It seemed that Brian Butch and company settled for fade away jumpers...allowing guys 6'5" to guard a 7 footer.
Marquette got 20 points off turnovers to Kentucky's 6. And while Stanford boasts size where MU is weakest, the Golden Eagles back court can eat up the Cardinal guards.
I hope you saw Lazar Hayward's sick dunk to make it 41-36.
I hope you saw Marcus Landry not only block shots but intimidate the Titans.
I think Michael Flowers is going to guard Michael Beasley first.
I think both teams will play next week...get ready for the Sweet 16!
