The matchup to watch? In the trenches. Mainly overlooked, Mark Tauscher's face off against Pro Bowl Defensive End Patrick Kerney of the Seahawks will determine a lot of what the Packers can do. You gotta love Tauscher's confidence, saying you're in trouble if you go into a game thinking you need help. So if Tauscher can mainly block Kerney by himself, the Packers can run the 4 and 5 receiver sets they've run all year.
Nick Barnett impressed me with two things. One, talking about how one mistake in the playoffs, like 4th and 26, can live with you forever. And two, a killer robot move as he exited the podium in the Packers auditorium.

A classic Matt Hasselbeck story we did years ago could win an NFL ad campaign. When we had the camera on Hasselbeck, he was opening his fan mail while eating breakfast with Brett Favre. And one last Packer positive? All of this Tony Romo-Jessica Simpson hoopla can't help the Cowboys. And I'm sorry, but Tony should know better...going to Mexico with the singing sensation during the offseason is fine. During the bye week of the playoffs, not smart. But the TO ankle sprain, which kept him out of practice...will hurt Dallas on the field even more. Giants upset, with New York coming to Lambeau for the NFC Championship? It's looking more promising!
