OK, I'm big enough to admit when I get played...and I just took a whale of a fish tale hook, line and sinker.
It's kind of like when profootballtalk.com did a story on April Fool's Day a few years ago that Ron Wolf was ready to come back and work for the Packers. It seemed like it might hold some water, except for the fact that Wolf would have replaced Ted Thompson. Since the two are close friends, that torpedoed the story for me.
You see, I did a blog a little while back about a shark caught by a fisherman, and the shark was supposedly so thankful it was a "catch and release" angler that he followed the angler around and became his unofficial pet. I admit, a little far fetched...but I thought hey, I don't do a lot of fishing stuff...it sounds interesting.
Well now I find out this was an April Fool's Day joke in a French magazine about 2 years ago.
You can say I got fish fried.
