He hails from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Actually, he grew up in Two Rivers, but for national TV purposes, it doesn't sound nearly as good.
His real name is Ken Anderson....so the first time he did his trademark mic announcement, he said "MISTER.....(long pause)....KENNEDY!" just so he wouldn't goof it up.
