Usually in April, things are not that big in major league baseball. C'mon, you still have at least 130 games and 5 months left in a long season.
BUT THIS BREWERS-CUBS SERIES AT WRIGLEY IS HUGE FOR 3 REASONS:
1. Ben Sheets pitches. Cross your fingers that his tricep doesn't tighten up in the cold. Remember last year at Wrigley, he suffered a groin injury in cool and rainy conditions.
2. Mike Cameron returns. This pop gun offense needs a spark. Cameron's batting average won't provide that...but his power and his ability to get on base should do something. And his 3 Gold Gloves should help the D.
3. The Brewers are 2 games back in the division, and they need to start setting the tone with the Cubs for later. Now.
