Check it out...after the Brewers pounded the Cardinals 12-2, Marquette's own Tom Crean takes the mic and interviews game winner Ben Sheets.
Sheets is a huge basketball fan, and attends games and practices with his son Seaver. Crean is a huge baseball fan, frequently attending games and is a close friend of Cardinals manager Tony La Russa.
As far as being a reporter, back when we did Crean's Court, we showed a picture of Tom behind a radio mic. Back in the day, Tom wanted to do what I do...and that's talk sports. Of course I can tease him, because the picture shows him with a sweet mullet...total business in the front, and party in the back. So take that, Tom!
